WLF has been developed to ensure gut health and carcass safety in all species. It is composed of calcium formate, citric acid and Phytomolecules protected in a lipid net-shape system, with “stop & go” release of the active ingredients in gizzard, small intestine, large intestine, colon and caeca, in particular, of formic acid in undissociated form. The usage of WLF is recommended in presence of severe field multifactorial challenge, risk of Salmonella, Clostridium perfringens and other pathogens.

WLF has been developed to ensure intestinal health and carcass safety in all species. It is composed of calcium formate, citric acid and Phytomolecules protected in a lipid net-shape system, with “stop & go” release of the active ingredients in the gizzard, small intestine, large intestine, colon and caeca.

In particular, the special protection allows a pulsating chemical interaction (Stop & Go) between formate and citric acid due to their different pKa, throughout the whole gastrointestinal tract. As a result, a high amount of formic acid is released in a non-dissociated form in the different gastrointestinal districts, having a strong impact on the health of the gizzard and intestine, in synergy with the immunostimulant, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects of the Phytomolecules.
